The University of Vermont faced the hack of the NetID portal.
Still they have no reason to believe the personal information of 37,000 faculty, staff and students fell into the wrong hands following a breach of the school’s computer systems.
The “intrusion” could lead to malicious use of usernames and passwords.
They gave users until Thursday 4:30 p.m. to change their usernames and passwords.
