The Royal Palace
Hackers have targeted several websites run by federal agencies and institutes, among those impacted were the websites for the Senate, the Royal Palace, and Prime Minister De Croo.
Due to the attacks, the websites were momentarily inaccessible.
Their operations currently seem to be unaffected, at least on the surface.
The Centre for Cyber Security, however, is hesitant to grant the all-clear just yet, the director of the centre Miguel De Bruycker told the VRT that it wasn't quite over yet.
De Bruycker asserts that the attack did not catch the Centre for Cybersecurity off guard since the websites are continuously watched, threats are traded, and the dark web is also monitored.
