Glasgow-based Weir Group suffered a sophisticated ransomware attack on its IT systems.
The attack forced the firm to delay shipments worth more than £50m in revenue and resulted in temporary disruptions including engineering, manufacturing, and shipment re-phasing.
The firm along with IT experts investigated the incident and restore the operations.
