The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES)

The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) suffered patched security flaws on its website that exposed the data of 6,000 users' personal data.

According to the PDPC, a scan report completed following the disclosure discovered 48 "high severity vulnerabilities," some of which could have been easily recognised and patched using "readily available" internet guidance.

PDPC immediately investigated the incident and asked establish security steps to ensure that personal information placed on the website is protected.
