The Buckle, Inc. fell victim to a security incident in which a criminal entity accessed some guest credit card information following purchases at some of their retail stores.
The malware was used to track data from the magnetic stripe of a payment card including the cardholder's name in addition to the card number and expiration date.
They immediately launched a thorough investigation and engaged leading third-party forensic experts to review their systems and secured the affected part of the network.
