The Minecraft modpack platform known as Technic suffered a data breach after an unknown third-party compromised its forums and wiki.
The breach impacted data including over 265k unique users' email and IP addresses, chat logs, private messages and passwords stored as bcrypt hashes with a work factor of 13.
As a precaution, they took down that machine (forums + wiki) while we investigated the issue.
