Bonita Springs Utilities uses a lockbox service provided by Technology Management Resources, Inc. to facilitate the payment processing.
TMR had identified suspicious activity regarding a user account in the company’s payment application that resulted in the breach.
Upon investigation it was revealed that 4,419 customers were affected by the breach.
