Some of the internal technology servers of Sycamore School District 427 fell a victim of a ransomware attack.
The District’s email system, phone system, website, student information systems (Infinite Campus), and building alarm systems were not a part of the ransomware and were fully functioning.
However, the visitors on the website were greeted with a pop-up message saying the district had been the victim of a ransomware attack.
