Surrey School Board suffered a data breach due to a clerical error in October 2016.

The exposed data included personal information of teenagers, like children’s school attendance records, names, phone numbers, and some sensitive family information.

School board Doug Strachan immediately took action and disabled the link.

It’s unclear how many people saw the document when it was live.
