St. Luke’s suffered a data breach after one of its business vendors suffered a cyber security incident that affected certain patients and customers.
The vendor provides the hospital statement processing and billing services and the unauthorized actor obtained the personal information and protected health information of patients who were billed in May 2022.
However, St. Luke communicated with those who may have been impacted by the incident.
