St. Joseph's/Candler

The largest healthcare network in Savannah, Georgia St. Joseph’s/Candler (SJ/C) fell pret to a ransomware attack which resulted in data breach incident.

The attackers accessed its IT network and launched a a ransomware attack and made the files n the system inaccessible.

However the SJ/C isolated the affected systems still a large number patients' information including address, date of birth, Social Security number and other personal data was compromised.
