Stanley Street Treatment and Resources, Inc. (“SSTAR”) experienced a data breach after an unauthorized party accessed the organization’s computer system and removed confidential patient information.
The breach compromised the following patient information: first and last names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, state identification numbers, financial account information and protected health information of more than 45,785 individuals.
SSTAR sent out data breach letters to all affected parties, informing them of the incident.
