Southeastern Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (SCADD) suffered a ransomware attack that compromised the personally identifiable information of more than 25,000 patients.
The information like Names, addresses, Social Security numbers, and medical records of 25,148 patients was impacted as a result of the incident.
SCADD immediately began an investigation to determine the nature and scope of the event and informed the impacted individuals.
