South Shore Hospital Corporation, a non-profit hospital located in Chicago, suffered a data security incident that compromised the Protected Health Information of more than 115,000 individuals.
The compromised information included first and last names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, financial and health insurance information, and medical information.
Although the incident did not affect any of its operations, South Shore Hospital still notified the security officers and sent notice to the impacted persons.
