Sollio cooperative Group, the largest agricultural company in Quebec, was the victim of a ransomware attack. The cybercriminals have threatened to leak the vast amount of data they have taken.
The business maintains a sizable farming services division in addition to the Groupe BMR hardware store. He is in charge of the meat producer Olymel.
Sollio has reported the incident to the Montreal police and is still working on restarting his systems.
The organisation won't specify how many of its systems were compromised, but hackers targeted Sollio's agricultural division and cooperative members' networks in addition to the headquarters'.
