Nashville-based teledentistry company SmileDirectClub fell prey to a ransomware attack.

The attack significantly impacted the treatment planning, manufacturing, and product delivery of the company.

The attackers also breached some of internal data from the company's network, however, the company did not pay any ransom and restored its network.
