Smart InsurTech AG, owner of the Smart Insur insurance platform, was the target of a cyberattack.
Customer systems were compromised in spite of the security precautions adopted.
After being discovered, the vulnerable products Smart Cloud and Smart Consult were immediately removed from the network for security concerns.
The appropriate investigative authority received a criminal complaint. Data leakage has not yet been proven, as of this writing.
Smart Admin, Smart Check, and Smart Compare are the other products that are unaffected by the incident and may be used by users without any issues.
