ShopBack

On the homegrown e-commerce cashback network ShopBack, following the firm's disclosure of a data breach event.

The Personal Data Protection Commission has been made aware of the occurrence, according to a spokesman.

ShopBack reported that it discovered illegal access to its systems, which held the personal information of its users.

According to ShopBack, an investigation was launched as soon as the problem was discovered, and top cybersecurity experts were hired to determine the scope of the breach and to improve ShopBack's security protocols.
