Shingle & Gibb Automation Data Breach Exposes Personal Information of 529 Individuals
Shamis & Gentile P.A., a class action law firm specializing in data breach cases, is investigating a cybersecurity incident involving Shingle & Gibb Automation, LLC, an industrial automation distributor based in Moorestown, New Jersey. The company, operational since 1933, provides engineering, technical training, and field services to industrial clients.
On November 12, 2025, Shingle & Gibb detected suspicious activity within its network. An internal investigation, supported by a forensic security firm, confirmed that an unauthorized third party accessed the system and potentially exfiltrated files on the same day. After reviewing the compromised data, the company determined on February 20, 2026, that personally identifiable information (PII) was involved.
