SHI International, a New Jersey-based provider of Information Technology (IT) products and services suffered a malware attack on its network over the weekend.
SHI's immediate response swiftly identified the incident and took preventive measures to minimize the impact on its systems and operations.
While some website pages were returning Amazon CloudFront/S3 SHI errors, it added a message to its website warning customers and visitors that its information systems were undergoing maintenance due to a "sustained outage."
SHI's IT experts worked on restoring access to other affected systems on the network and getting all the pages back online.
