Sheppard Robson IT team suffered a ransomware attack on their network after they noticed unusual activity on their network on July 24.
The IT team immediately took actions to limit the damage caused by the attack by disconnecting their systems from the internet and shutting down any systems still in operation.
The firm refused to pay the ransom and reported the incident to the police.
