The employee's information of Seagate Technology was leaked in a data security incident after an employee email account tricked an employee at a data storage giant.
The compromised information included employee Social Security numbers, salaries, and other personal data.
The employee's excess was immediately cut off and offered two-year membership to Experian’s ProtectMyID service, paid for by the company.
