SCAN Health Plan, suffered from a data breach incident after an unauthorized person got access to 87,000 individuals person information.

The exposed information included name, address, phone number date of birth, limited health notes, such as a doctor name, health condition, or medication name, and Social Security number.

They immediately began an investigation and brought in outside experts and took prevantive stpes.
