The website was hacked because some students were using it to apply for post-graduate admission.
The institution had filed a complaint with the Burla police station saying that the website had been hacked.
However, the university's response was restricted to those claims.
The website's security was not checked, nor was anything similar done and the websites returned to normal after 2 days of hacking.
