Samsung suffered a data breach incident in late July 2022 after an unauthorized third party acquired information from some of Samsung’s U.S. systems.
The exposed information included the name, contact, location, date of birth, and product registration information of its customers.
Samsung worked with an external cybersecurity firm to prevent the attack from escalating and communicated directly with the affected customers.
