The hackers breached Ronin's network by attacking the popular NFT game “Axie Infinity.”

The attackers exploited the unique validation node in a sophisticated social engineering attack and hit Ronin network for 173,600 Ethereum and 25.5 million USD Coin

The stolen money was still in the hacker’s wallet and the company offered a reward of some millions of dollars for returning the stolen money.
