The Rheinische Post Mediengruppe's several news websites have all been rendered inoperable due to a cyberattack.
After a cyberattack, a number of the Rheinische Post Mediengruppe's online news portals either stopped working completely or were only partially accessible.
Currently, all that is visible on the websites of the relevant media is a brief notice about a widespread interruption.
The attackers used a supply chain attack to get access to the full-service provider Circ IT of the Rheinische Post Mediengruppe and shut down the websites of the Rheinische Post and other news portals.
