Resources for Human Development (RHD) suffered a data loss after a hard drive containing patient and staff information was stolen.
Apparently 46,673 Pennsylvanian lost their personal information including Social Security numbers, financial account information, medical history and records, birth dates, health insurance information, electronic signatures, usernames and passwords, and other.
RHD immediately launched an internal investigation with the assistance of third-party forensic specialists and took preventive steps to secure data.
