Republican National Committee was hit by a ransomware attack by Russian government hackers that breached the computer systems of the organization.

What information the hackers viewed or, if any, stole was unknown, the RNC has consistently denied being hacked.

They immediately blocked all access from Synnex accounts to their cloud environment the organization notified.
