Redwood Eye Center

Redwood Eye Center in Vallejo, California fell victim to a ransomware attack after its EMR hosting vendor, IT Lighthouse, suffered the attack.

The incident affected some patient information including names, addresses, dates of birth, health insurance information, and medical treatment information.

Both the vendor and eye center retained expert help to address the incident and restore access to patient records and notified 16,055 California patients.
