Recology Inc.

The Washington State Office of the Attorney General reported that Recology Inc. experienced a data breach due to a ransomware cyberattack, discovered on November 2, 2023, involving 3,540 individuals. The breach affected various types of personal information, including names, Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial information, birth dates, and health-related data. Notification to affected individuals began on December 19, 2023 and continued until August 5, 2024.
