Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego
A software provider stated that a third party acquired access to files containing personal information of members of its community, prompting Rady Children's Hospital to launch its second data breach investigation in as many years.
According to the hospital, the vulnerability was disclosed by Blackbaud, the provider of its donor management and fundraising software.
No information of donors, patients, or anyone else else was mentioned by Rady Children's as having been compromised.
According to Blackbaud, there is no evidence the data was read and there is no cause to worry that it will be exploited or made public, according to Rady Children's, the hospital.
