Public Employees Credit Union

On May 16, 2022, the Maine Office of the Attorney General reported that Public Employees Credit Union experienced an external system breach (hacking) on April 24, 2022. The breach affected 28,606 individuals in total, with sensitive information, including names, addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, account numbers, and Social Security numbers, compromised for three Maine residents. Identity theft protection services were offered through Experian for one year.
