Priority One Financial Services, Inc.

The Maine Office of the Attorney General reported that Priority One Financial Services, Inc. experienced an external system breach between May 3, 2021, and May 17, 2021, affecting a total of 15,356 individuals, including 181 Maine residents. The breach involved unauthorized access to an employee's email account, potentially compromising names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, and financial account numbers. Individuals whose information was affected were notified by letter on August 27, 2021, and were offered one year of credit monitoring and identity theft protection services through Experian.
