Pritchard Brown Data Breach Exposes Sensitive Personal and Corporate Data

Pritchard Brown, a Baltimore-based manufacturer of custom protective enclosures and fuel tank bases, disclosed a significant data breach that occurred between September 16 and October 15, 2025. The company detected unauthorized network access on October 14, 2025, prompting a forensic investigation. On March 17, 2026, the investigation confirmed that files containing personal and corporate data may have been accessed or exfiltrated.

The breach was later claimed by the ransomware group Interlock, which posted on the Tor network on October 29, 2025, asserting it had stolen 1.3 terabytes of data including 1.7 million documents across 200,000+ folders. Exposed information reportedly included full names, Social Security numbers, driver’s licenses, financial account details, medical records, technical designs, project documentation, contracts, and internal records.

Pritchard Brown began notifying affected individuals via letters dated April 10, 2026, offering complimentary credit monitoring services through Cyberscout (a TransUnion company), including single-bureau credit monitoring, reports, and scores. A dedicated call center was established for inquiries, available for 90 days from the notification date (8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET, Monday–Friday).

The breach was reported to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation. While the company has not disclosed the total number of impacted individuals, the scale of exposed data suggests a substantial risk of identity theft and fraud. No further details on remediation efforts or legal actions have been publicly confirmed.
