Pray.com

The Christian faith app Pray.com has leaked private data for up to 10 million people, according to researchers.

1.9 million files, or around 262 GB of data, were discovered in various open, publicly available cloud databases (in this case, Amazon Web Services S3 buckets) belonging to Pray.com by vpnMentor experts.

The majority of this data was internal, but one of the buckets had alarming information: 80,000 files contained different types of personally identifiable information (PII) for tens of millions of people, not simply Pray.com users.

These files held listings of the church members, with details such as names, residential and email addresses, phone numbers, and marital status for each member.
