Pôle emploi

The federal unemployment registration and financial help organisation in France, Pôle emploi, has suffered a data breach that compromised the personal information of 10 million people.

The exposed information includes full names and social security numbers, while email addresses, phone numbers, passwords, and banking data have not been affected by this data leak.

Job searchers are advised to feel secure using their passwords to log into the online employment portal at "pole-employment.fr" because the agency has made it clear that the occurrence has no effect on its financial aid programmes.

The organisation has also established a special phone support line to address any queries or worries that anyone who were exposed might have regarding the occurrence.
