A ransom attack on the Pionet computer company, owned by the Malam Timm stock exchange, paralyzed many of the company's systems and the websites of more than a hundred of the company's customers.
The assailants are seeking a ransom of approximately 500,000 shekels.
Negotiations to pay the attackers' ransom and free the systems are taking place throughout these hours.
The company's backup server was also targeted, and no data can be restored, not even any potentially exposed customer information.
