The settlement follows allegations that Pineland failed to adequately safeguard sensitive data, though the organization denies wrongdoing. Key deadlines include August 10, 2026, to opt out of the settlement and September 9, 2026, to submit a claim. Final approval is scheduled for a hearing on October 5, 2026, with payouts expected afterward, pending court resolution of any appeals.
