Phil-Data Business Systems, a well-known IT firm in the Philippines, recently suffered a serious security breach.

The hacker collective ALPHV has taken credit for this cyber-attack, claiming that they gained access to and stole sensitive and important data from the business.

The hackers have given Phil-material a 48-hour deadline to comply with their demands, or else they'll threaten to reveal the stolen confidential material to the public.

In response to the situation, Phil-Data released a statement that acknowledged the breach but assured that, according to their investigation, no client information was exposed.
