Pfizer

Pfizer leaked the private medical data of 100s of prescription drug users in the USA, which compromised the privacy and security of people using its medications.

The leaked information concerned communications between users of Pfizer's prescription medications, such as Lyrica, Chantix, Viagra, and cancer treatments Ibrance and Aromasin, and the company's automated customer service software.

These medications include both generic and patented name-brand goods.

It was discovered that the exposed files were housed in a Google Cloud Storage bucket that was improperly setup.
