Passco Companies LLC Discloses Data Breach Affecting Over 8,300 Individuals
Passco Companies LLC, a real estate investment and development firm based in Irvine, California, has reported a data breach impacting approximately 8,335 individuals across the U.S., including residents of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Indiana.
The company detected suspicious activity within its network on August 7, 2025, prompting an immediate response to secure its systems. A third-party forensic investigation later confirmed that unauthorized access had occurred, resulting in the theft of limited personal data. A subsequent review identified the compromised information, which varied by individual but included names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license or state ID numbers, and financial account details.
Passco received the final findings of the data review on December 16, 2025, and began notifying affected individuals in writing on April 17, 2026, with additional notifications sent on June 11, 2026.
In response, Passco is offering complimentary credit monitoring and identity protection services through Experian IdentityWorks, including credit reports, ongoing monitoring, identity restoration support, and $1 million in identity theft insurance. Enrollment deadlines vary by notification date July 31, 2026, for those notified in April and September 30, 2026, for later recipients. The company has also established dedicated assistance lines and a mailing address for affected individuals.
