Pa. Senate Democrats were targeted in a cyberattack in March 2017.
Ransomware encrypts data on an infected system and demands that users pay a ransom in the digital currency Bitcoin in exchange for the decryption key required to unlock the network and unlock the data.
They investigated the system and shut down systems all day.
