The HR software company PageUp experienced a data breach. The company informed its clients of the event and said it had begun a forensic investigation with assistance from a separate third-party organisation.
The incident has been reported by the corporation to Australian and UK data regulators as well as police enforcement.
The employment website can be accessed going forward as there is no indication that a threat is still present.
At the time, the company just acknowledged that malware had entered its systems; it did not provide technical information regarding the security breach.
