OpenAI found that the recent exposure of users' private information and chat titles in the ChatGPT service was caused by a Redis problem.
Several ChatGPT users have begun to report seeing other users' conversation histories appear in their accounts.
The chatbot service was momentarily suspended and the history function displayed the error message Unable to load history.
The company looked into the issue's effects and found that it might have resulted in 1.2% of ChatGPT Plus users who were active during a certain nine-hour period accidentally having their payment-related information visible.
