The Maine Office of the Attorney General reported on June 21, 2022, that O’Brien Wealth Partners, LLC experienced a data breach involving unauthorized access to employee email accounts between March 7, 2022, and March 24, 2022. Approximately 855 individuals were affected, including 12 Maine residents, with potentially compromised information including names, dates of birth, financial account numbers, and Social Security numbers. O’Brien offered 12 months of complimentary identity theft protection services through Experian.
