Oak View Group Discloses Data Breach Affecting Contractors and Vendors
Oak View Group (OVG), a global sports and live entertainment company based in Denver, Colorado, recently reported a data breach involving unauthorized access to its legacy computer systems. The intrusion was detected on January 19, 2026, though forensic analysis revealed the attacker first gained access on December 16, 2025, remaining undetected for 34 days.
During this period, the unauthorized party exfiltrated files containing sensitive personal information, including names, Social Security numbers, and tax identification numbers. The breach impacted contractors and vendors who performed work at OVG-managed venues, with 335 Massachusetts residents confirmed as affected so far. Notification letters were mailed to impacted individuals on June 12, 2026.
In response, OVG is providing two years of complimentary credit monitoring and identity restoration services through Cyberscout, including credit monitoring, fraud consultation, and identity theft restoration. Affected individuals must enroll by September 12, 2026, using a unique membership number from their notification letter. OVG has also set up a dedicated call center (1-844-507-4260) for inquiries, operating Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
