NT Health

Northern Territory Health, it is the responsibility of the individual to determine if the government has violated the privacy of their medical records.

The ABC reported that as part of a software system upgrade, more than 50,000 individuals had their identifying health details transmitted between two NT government agencies.

Then, more than 3,000 of those records were delivered to Intersystems, a multinational software provider with locations across 27 nations, including Europe, South America, and China.

Some patient elements, such as psychological reports, psychiatric hospital visits, termination of pregnancy, or stillbirth records, were categorised as having very-high or high clinical risk.
