North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University

North Carolina A&T State University was targeted in a ransomware attack by BlackCat or ALPHV group in April 2022.

The group accessed and stole the personal information from both employees and students and disrupted the systems at the university causing the university to dismiss the classes.

The university immediately launched an investigation to know the extent of the attack and stolen data.
