Northern Sydney Local Health District

Ryde Hospital is at the center of a gross breach of privacy, after the medical records of a sexual assault victim were mistakenly handed to another patient.

The highly personal details had mistakenly been handed out to a young woman.

Name, address, telephone, contact details, why they were in hospital, who saw them absolutely everything was stated.

The medical records detailed the injuries that were sustained from a sexual assault.
